Our Beginning
Hi, I’m Qusain Farooq, a Food Scientist and Dairy Technologist, on a mission to make nutrition both healthy and irresistibly delicious. My journey began during my MS.c (Hons.) research, where I worked on developing a chickpea-based spread — a blend of science, taste, and innovation. That’s where the idea of Proteen was born: a brand created to fuel your day the Proteen way, combining natural ingredients, scientific precision, and culinary creativity.
From experimenting in food labs to participating in food festivals across Pakistan, I realized people crave snacks that are honest, nutritious, and genuinely enjoyable. Most “healthy” products on store shelves are either imported at high prices, artificial, or full of misleading labels. We decided to challenge that system by creating something better: clean, high-protein foods made with honesty, made right here at home.
